CHRONIC PAIN AWARENESS

Living beyond chronic pain

Chronic pain is often invisible and misunderstood, yet quietly life-altering.
It can change how we move, think, rest, work, and relate to ourselves and others.

This pillar sits at the heart of my work because living with Fibromyalgia, a chronic pain condition, for almost a decade - is what changed everything for me.

It reframed how I care for my body and how I understand wellbeing as a whole.

This space is about raising awareness and bringing chronic pain into the open.
Not to minimise it or offer quick fixes, but to make it easier to understand, talk about, and live with. Grounded in lived experience, modern pain science, and small practical choices, it supports a move from coping towards greater steadiness and agency.

For now, this pillar is rooted primarily in the Changing the Narrative Blog, with the Podcast coming soon. Together they explore chronic pain in more depth, simply, honestly, and in a way I wish I’d had at the start of my journey.
