PILATES AND MOVEMENT FOR EVERY BODY

Intelligent movement that supports strength, mobility, and confidence - at every stage of life.

Movement has been a key part of how I’ve learned to live alongside chronic pain. Not as a fix, but as a way to rebuild trust, strength, and confidence in my body over time.

My approach to Pilates and movement is thoughtful, adaptable, and whole-body. It can be gentle or challenging depending on the day, and always respects where someone is starting from - particularly when pain, fatigue, injury, or hormonal change are part of the picture.

This pillar isn’t about pushing through or chasing perfection.
It’s about learning how to move with your body, not against it.

My Background and Approach

I am trained in the STOTT PILATES® method - Matwork, Reformer and Cadillac, with experience over the past few years teaching group classes, 1:1 and duet sessions at studios in Tetbury and Cheltenham and now, through 1:1 sessions from my home studio.

Pilates became part of my life long before I trained as an Instructor, initially as a way to manage Fibromyalgia pain and stiffness. Over time, it helped me understand my body more deeply and shaped how I now approach movement as a whole.

Pilates isn’t something I teach separately from how I live. It’s part of my own regular movement and wellbeing practice; alongside walking, simple but effective cardio, and progressive strength training - particularly important in midlife and menopause, to support muscle mass, joint health, energy and resilience.

PILATES & MOVEMENT RESOURCES - COMING SOON!

Pilates Sessions

I currently have availability for a limited number of Reformer sessions at my 1:1 home studio.

Sessions combine Reformer with Cadillac Tower, which adds even more versatility for support, challenge, and creative movement options. Where appropriate sessions may also include the Jumpboard, small equipment (such as the fitness circle and mobility ball) and weights.

I often integrate Matwork at the beginning or end of a session - either to gently prepare the body and / or to cool down. This allows clients to leave with simple exercises they can confidently practice at home.

If you live locally (GL2) and are interested, please contact me via the Contact Form or DM me on Instagram.
